In a stament to KNS, Soz said the so-called Third Front leaders will soon realize that their proposal of asking Kashmiris to demand application of Article 371 of the Constitution of India to Jammu and Kashmir and forget, altogether, about now abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution of “I have convinced myself that the so-called ‘Third Front Leaders’ misread the situation in Kashmir. They think that the BJP govt. at the centre will succeed in imposing its proposal on Kashmir through it (the so-called Third Front), whom the BJP Govt. seems to have cultivated for this cause,” he said.

 

The Ministerial Group that had been tasked during this week to span in length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir and assess the situation on ground, has left for Delhi, he said.

 

“A credible source has confirmed to me that they (the Group of Ministers) carried a feeling that the general run of Kashmir’s are seething with anger on abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India (SIC).”

 

“It has now been left to this so-called Third Front to work on the ‘Proposition’ and test the waters. The possibility is that the Mainstream Politicians (when released) will initiate a movement suggesting a goal that is achievable through the Electoral Process,” he said. (KNS).
