Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Continuing mass contact program, senior leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt, today, visited several areas of Pulwama district including Zadoora, Ruhmoo, Gusoo and interacted with a number of delegations.
During the visit, Zaffer Akbar Bhat paid glowing tributes to martyrs of the district particularly to Raqib bashir, Ashiq hussain Hyder and others.
Bhat strongly condemned the killing a youth Danish Rashid and lady Tahira Hamid in Kakapora Pulwama and denounced the use of excessive forces and bullets on peaceful protesters in the area.
He demanded a fair probe into the incident and termed the forces action is uncalled and inhuman.
Bhat asked International community to take a strong note of the incident and punish the Indian armed forces for perpetrating grave human rights violations. He asked the community to setup a commission for prosecuting the troopers involved in the killing of Kashmir as under AFSPA shields them from any prosecution.
He said that Indian forces are killing Kashmiris to get rewards and muzzle the ongoing freedom struggle.
Bhat also paid glowing tributes to martyr Ghulam Mohmmad Bulla of Peoples League on his 40th martyrdom anniversary.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also remembered Dr Turabi,pilot Nadeem Khateeb. Zaffer Akbar Bhat also paid tributes to chowkibal, kupwara and Kakpora,Pulwama martyrs, martyred by Indian forces during encounter at Kupwara and Pulwama.
He expressed solidarity with young journalist Abdul Qayoom on the sad demise of his young brother-in-law Mujahid shamim , He also visited hospital and inquire about health of mother of Martyr Bashir ahmad.
Zaffer also strongly condemned the detention of JNU student’s union president and demanded his release.
He asked Indian government to repeal sedition charges leveled against Prof Syed Abdul Rehman Geelani and other JNU students.

Zafar Akbar Butt, accompanied by party leaders addressed gatherings in the area said that Kashmir wasan internationally acknowledged and accepted dispute which needed to be resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people which could only guarantee peace in the region. (KNS)
