Srinagar, Sep 30 (KNS): Senior Pro-freedom leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat Wednesday met ailing Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in India, Mansoor Ahmed Khan and enquire about his health.
Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in India, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, suffered a heavy cardiac arrest last month.
According to a statement issued to KNS, during the meet, Zaffer Akbar Bhat discussed present political scenario of Jammu Kashmir and apprised Deputy High Commissioner about the prevailing situation.
He apprised the Deputy High Commissioner about the anti-freedom movement and anti-Islamic policies and agenda being implemented by the state government on behest of communal forces. Zaffer apprised the Deputy High Commissioner about the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by the forces in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that kashmiri people always stress for resolution of Kashmir issue through tripartite dialogue.
He hailed the efforts of Pakistani government and expressed hope that the country will continue to support the genuine freedom struggle of Kashmir. He praised Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief for his bold stand which he took in UN general assembly.
Zaffer prayed for the well being of Deputy High Commissioner Mansoor Ahmad Khan and said that he himself is a well-wisher of Kashmiris who wants a peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir. (KNS)
