Srinagar 05 June (KNS): on the eve of world environment day 2021, SKICC organised function in the Kashmir’s exclusive international conference centre along-with RSGC and KGC on preservation and protection of environmental heritage.

The well attended functions as addresses by voices including the Director SKICC/MD Golf Development Authority Bakhshi Humayun Javed who stressed upon the audience specifically and the public at large to evolve the consciousness and serious concern for the preservation and protection of the precious environmental heritage which is the only pivotal factor for establishing Jammu Kashmir on the tourism map of the country and on global Tourism arena.

The speakers also spoke in length about the success stories of different destinations where environmental preservation is virtually considered as religious duty and citizens have moral and social responsibility to contribute directly or indirectly for refreshing and replenishing the natural flora and fauna.

Bakhshi Humayun Javed made all the employees and staff of SKICC ,RSGC and KGC to take an oath for doing their bit for this greater cause which we owe to the future generations the way our ancestors owed and preserved it for us.

SKICC staff also participated in a plantation drive in the backlawns nursery which was kick started by the Director SKICC.(KNS)
