Srinagar, Dec 25 (KNS): Senior CPIM leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami called the Verdict of DDC elections as start of Political process.
" I Congratulate people of all regions for participating in DDC elections in peaceful atmosphere. This broke the political freeze in the valley. This is the start of the Political process after people were feeling dejected due to the steps of Government of India last year. GoI didn't show farsightedness in its decesions. Their actions broke the hearts of the people. Govt of India took unilateral decision and didn't care for the people of J&K," he told KNS correspondent.
He said that with the start of political processes, people expect some relief and added that it doesn't mean there would not have been any hortcomings from the Government side and may be their side in this election.
"We were not heard by administration as we were expecting," he said. (KNS).
