Baramula 08 April(KNS): On the directions of Administration and different law enforcing agencies on Thursday launched a massive drive against violators of COVID-19 SOPs.

According to kashmir news service correspondent,A joint team of officers led by Naib Tehsildar Uri Ab Rahman Najar and Uri police conducted inspection of Uri  town, adjoining areas and imposed fine on the pedestrians who were found without masks.

The teams also inspected the shops to check whether the shopkeepers have follow SOP's, a fine of Rs. 1050 was realized from the customers and shopkeepers during the inspection not wearing mask.

During the inspection the officers also appealed the people and shopkepers  to follow the SOPs and other health related advisories for the safety of their own health and of others, they also warned people of strict action if they continued to violate SOPs(KNS)
