Baramulla, Jan 12 (KNS): A cow and a calf were charred to death after a cattle shed caught fire during late last night in Sheeri area of Baramulla district, official said here. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the cattle shed belonging to one Abdul Rashid Dar of Darul-uloom Colony Sheeri caught fire at around 2 am in the night.

He said that in the incident two cattle were charred to death.

The official said that police have taken cognisance of the matter. (KNS)
