Students honoured their Teachers after 20 years of Separation

Tangmarg November 12:(KNS) Students spend more than 1,000 hours with their teachers in a typical school year. That's enough time to build a relationship that could ignite a student's lifetime love of learning—and it's enough time for the dynamic to go totally off the rails.

Improving student's relationships with teachers has important, positive and long-lasting implications for both student's academic and social development. Solely improving student's relationships with their teachers will not produce gains in achievement. However, those students who have close, positive and supportive relationships with their teachers will attain higher levels of achievement than those students with more conflict in their relationships.

Suppose a student who feels a strong personal connection to his teacher, talks with his teacher frequently, and receives more constructive guidance and praise rather than just criticism from his teacher. The student is likely to trust his teacher more, show more engagement in learning, behave better in class and achieve at higher levels academically. Positive teacher-student relationships draw students into the process of learning and promote their desire to learn.

The best ever example of same kind of relationship between students and Teachers was seen in the recent Past on 8th November 2020 at Gulmarg, the fomous tourist resort. In this function, Students of Mohammadia High School Kunzer (Tangmarg) (Batch 2001) organised a get together Program with their teachers who used to teach them before Twenty Years at Mohammadia High School Kunzer. The climax of this function was to honour and spend Some memorable moments with those 2001 batch Teachers. The invited teachers were Bashir Ahmad Ganie R/O: Kralweth Kunzer, Ghulam Ahmad Rather, R/O: Lalpora Kunzer and Parvaiz Ahmad Dar, R/O: Peth Makhama. The Students of above mentioned School decided to recall the Past Sweet and Bitter moments that they had with their teachers. So they decided to meet them again after 20 years. The students had organised different interesting Programs. All the invited teachers paid thanks to their students while speaking before the audience.

Among the invited teachers was Mr Bashir Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Kralweth Kunzer, who is known for teaching Mathematics. This well known Mathematician while speaking on the dais, he said that he is Proud of Teaching such students who still remember and respect their teachers after decades.
He said "I’m glad and excited about my students getting involved and making education meaningful, we certainly need People like you, who are going to make a difference for a new generation of students".

He said that he is Proud of Teaching Such brilliant students who are now teachers, businessmen, engineers and Scholars. While addressing his students, he said that I am full of pride that I have played a part in a true revolution in the system, a revolution that devotes much attention to the students who needed a guiding star to show them a righteous Path. He advised all the Present Students to play a vital role in making the society around them free from all sorts of evils. He thanked the students for invitation and organising such beautiful and memorable event.(KNS)
