Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Inhabitants living around the Badami Bagh cantonment accused BB cant Board Administration for failing to curb the dog menace in their area.
The residents said that dogs who are surviving on the food thrown by Army have created fear among the pedestrians, motorcyclists particularly children and old aged people in the area.
Stray dogs till date have attacked and injured several persons. Recently a pack of stray dogs attacked a motorcyclist near the cantonment,” the locals said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Alleging that BB Cant board administration has miserably failed to check the dog menace in Srinagar city, locals said, “Our pleas have fallen flat on deaf ears. If board fails to take care of this menace we will be left with no other option other than taking to the streets.”
They appealed the board officials to look into the matter and mitigate their sufferings. (KNS)
