Srinagar, Dec 15 (KNS): District Police Srinagar through Zonal Police City South Srinagar organized Painting Competition on the eve of "Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” at Deaf & Dumb School in Rambagh area of Srinagar under Civic Action Programme 2021-22 and 2022-23.

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a large umber of students from Srinagar participated in the painting competition with zeal. "They beautifully portrayed their perception and produced colorful drawings. The painting competition was organized on a children based theme. Later, the best adjudged participants were also felicitated with cash prizes and served refreshment to all participants and staff."

On the occasion, SP City South Srinagar congratulated the winners and highlighted the objective of celebrating “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” and role of women in freedom struggle and social reforms in India.

The statement reads that vote to thanks was presented by SDPO Shaheed Gunj, Syed Fayaz Ahmad. (KNS)
