Srinagar, Jun 04 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary has facilitated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and expressed the hope that the auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, prosperity and progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kadfeen as per a statement issued to KNS urged the government to ensure all requisite arrangements are put in place for smooth conduct of the festival. He also underlined the need of remembering economically downtrodden and underprivileged people in the state on the occasion, stating that a helping hand from the society’s affluent is must to make the state a better place to live in. Kadfeen also requested people to pray for peace and prosperity of the state and for human values to thrive in the present day world. (KNS)
