Srinagar, Nov 22 (KNS): The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the sad demise of popular and young militant commander Riyaz Shaheed Dar alias Majaaz Kashmiri saying the ‘Mujahid’ will always be remembered for his great contribution to the freedom movement of Jammu Kashmir.
The deceased was a renowned commander of Muslim Janbaaz Force and since then has been associated with the Democratic Freedom Party.
As per a statement issued to press, a delegation of DFP led by its general secretary Moulana Abdullah Tari visited the deceased’s ancestral house in Ganderbal and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
Moulana extended the condolence message of party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah to the grief-striken family and paid tributes to Majaaz Kashmiri for his “invaluable” services to the freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, a DFP spokesperson paid tributes to the youths martyred in Hajin saying “we’re indebted to their sacrifices and committed to take their mission to its logical conclusion”. (KNS)
