Set your goal with courage to achieve success: UPSC Kashmir Topper Waseem Ahmed

Srinagar May 26 (KNS): UPSC Kashmir topper Waseem Ahmed Bhat on Friday said that every aspirant should set a goal with courage, proper planning and have to be well focused to achieve success.

Talking exclusively to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Waseem Ahmed Bhat said that the youth should set a goal for themselves as per their own capabilities and they have to be courageous, passionate with proper planning to achieve the goal.

He also said that as the results came out, he started receiving calls from his friends and well wishers to congratulate him on qualifying UPSC with 7th rank.

"I was so happy to see people from all over the country congratulating me. This was really a moment of joy and remembering that everyone wishing me on my success."

He said his family, grandfather and friends played a great role to achieve this feat. "They have always inspired me. My friends outside J&K have been also quite supportive of my success," he said.

Bhat, hailing from Dooru village of Anantnag, is among 14 candidates from Jammu Kashmir who qualified the prestigious civil services examination 2022.

Earlier, he had qualified UPSC in 2021 and got 225 rank and he is presently posted as Indian Revenue Services (IRS) officer in Nagpur, Maharashtra. (KNS)
