Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): Grand Mufti J&K, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Wednesday said that Ramadhan moon has not been sighted in Jammu and Kashmir so the first day of fasting will be on Friday.
“No evidence was received from any part of J&K about sighting of Ramadhan moon”, Grand Mufti said and added, “So the first day of the fasting month will be on Friday”. (KNS)
