Srinagar Nov 16 (KNS): Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, Sheikh Ashiq execrated Jal shakti and power development department for water and electricity crisis in Malsahi Bagh locality of summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that he is among those 2 lac people of Malsahi Bagh area of Srinagar who are not getting water on regular basis as the canal of said area has not been fully activated.

He said that besides facing water scarcity, the area faces frequent power cuts as well.

He also said that despite passing of six deadlines the concerned authorities failed to fulfill the requirements of area and the areas has become the victim of official negligence. (KNS)
