Srinagar, July 28 (KNS): NTTA on Thursday expressed gratitude to Secretary Tourism, Director Tourism Kashmir for meeting them for a detailed meeting regarding welfare of the Nigeen Tourist Traders.
In a statement issued to Kashmir News Servive (KNS), they said that they are thankful to Director Tourism Kashmir for meeting them today in his office chambers.
“Had a and detailed meeting with him regarding the welfare of the Nigeen Tourist Traders. We at NTTA thank him very much for the patient hearing,” reads the statement.
It reads that registering of residential houses into home stays and guest houses, beautification of Nigeen lake and its adjacent parks & permanent shelter for fire fighting staff were among the things discussed with him.
It added that Dr Itoo assured his full support to NTTA and will soon held a meeting in Nigeen with the NTTA members, while date and venue will be announced soon.
“Moreover, Secretary Tourism Sarmad Hafeez will be invited in a grand event to be held by NTTA so as to encourage its members and appraise secretary tourism with the grievances and issues faced by the tourist traders of Nigeen.”
It further reads that they thank Secretary Tourism and his team for the superb promotion of the Tourism and they witnessed six times more influx of tourism than previous years. (KNS)
