No payment disbursed at Srinagar treasury for last 3 months, allege employees & pensioners

Srinagar, July 19 (KNS): Treasury payments are getting delayed and bills worth crores are pending with the treasury in Central Kashmir's  Srinagar city, aggrieved employees and pensioner complained on Tuesday. 


Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), employees, contractors and pensioners alleged that they are without salaries and contractors are waiting for payments to be released by the treasury of in Srinagar while the concerned authorities are unmoved. 

“No bill has been cleared by the treasury for the past several months in Srinagar," a delegation of contractors told KNS. 

They said that it has become a routine for the treasuries to delay their payments. 

Meanwhile, pensioners also alleged that they have not received any pension for the last three months as no money has been disbursed by the treasure department. 

When KNS tried to contact director treasuries in this regard, he did not respond to repeated calls. (KNS)
