Banihal August 31 (KNS): National Conference (NC) leader and District president Ramban Mr Sajjad Shaheen has said that National Conference is not a mere political party, but a movement with well-defined political agenda.
While speaking in a meeting of party workers of block Neel at Batoo, Neel in Banihal constituency , Shaheen said “NC is a movement rather than a mere political party and it will form next government whenever elections are held in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Workers of NC are epitome of sacrifice and selfless service who have withstood all challenges and proven their loyalty towards people, party and its leadership,” he said.
“We do not deceive people by emotional blackmailing, slogans, falsehood, bias and creating hatred between various regions and sections of the society for votes,” Shaheen said.
“There have been conspiracies against us in the past and it still is continuing as political parties are being created in every nook and corner of the erstwhile State to divide us he added.
Asserting that National Conference (NC) is a deep rooted mass movement, Shaheen said NC has a firm standing in all 90 constituencies in the state.
He said, NC has always stood on firm political and inclusive development programme and will continue to strengthen the ideology of peaceful, secular, democratic and unified Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking a dig at political soothsayers, he said those patting their backs over standing in the state’s political sphere, will not find enough candidates to field from all constituencies.
Several political workers from various parties joined National conference and resolved to strengthen the party and its leadership include Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, Fayaz Ahmed Naik, Mohd Hussain Sohil, Khurshid Ahmed Naik, Mohd Hussain Sohil, Mohammad Maroof Naik, Mushtaq Ahmed Naik, Mohammad Iqbal Malik, Abdul Rahman Naik Mohd Arif Naik ,Fayaz Ahmed Goru and others.
