Mehbooba Mufti fighting for rights, dignity of people: PDP’s Zuhaib Mir

Srinagar, Dec 26 (KNS): People's democratic party chief, Mehbooba Mufti’s role in present times is not for acquiring roads, electricity, water etc but she is fighting for rights, dignity and collective interest of people of J&K, Zuhaib Yusuf Mir, PDP District President Srinagar said here Sunday.

He said that the second thing people should be aware of is how Mehbooba Mufti continues to discuss the respect, identity, and ego of  jammu and Kashmiri people.

"I am grateful that my party and party president Mehbooba Mufti judged me to be deserving of this position. But we must appropriately carry out our obligations," he said.

He also said that there is a need for consolidation in Budgam, Ganderbal, and Srinagar for the role that was given to me. "We'll work to make youth bodies and strength the foundation of our party. The solution to your inquiry is that flowers are grown from trees, not trees from flowers," he added.

He said that the flowers that flew away from this area have now withering somewhere else, but the trees means PDP are still producing blossoms.

"People are sensing how she is standing up for us, and this fight is about our respect and identity, not about the water, electricity, or road difficulties. Our party has great grassroots support. Just be with us," he said.

"I think that the challenges in Jammu and Kashmir, whether they are related to job insecurity or someone's son being detained in a kotbalwal or haryana jail. For example, the land lease,  land to the tiller  in Rivers in the 1950s, is currently being reversed. We believe that these issues will be resolved soon," he added.(KNS)
