Sopore, Nov 08 (KNS): At a time when young people of Kashmir are waiting for government to provide them opportunities, some among them create opportunities not only for themselves but for others as well and one such youth, Waseem Sikander, who hails from Langate area of Handwara, has set up a consultancy in Sopore town of north Kashmir's Baramulla district to realize his dream.

Waseem Sikander, who has always dreamed big, is currently setting his footprints in the business after he started a consultancy and a driving school in Sopore town. 

A young MBA pass out, Waseem is one among those youngsters who pursued their dreams instead of waiting for a government job and preferred their own business over a government job.

After completing his Master's in Business Management, Waseem worked in many Multinational companies in New Delhi. Wanting to set up his own venture, Waseem started a consultancy service and driving school institute, Al-Buraq Services, in Sopore town. 

The consultancy offers a wide range of customized, high-quality and research-based talent consulting services, admissions, passport and visa services. 

"I always wanted to own something and which I will start and give shape. Parents usually don't rely on their children at this age, but I am lucky that my parents supported me in this initiative," Waseem said, while talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS). 

He said that if one is dreaming of something, he should for it and one should not wait for a government employment only. 

"Kashmiri youth are full of talent and we have many examples before use where the youth have excelled in almost every sector in the Valley and that too on their own. One can easily start his own venture if he has the will, instead of waiting for a government job," he said. (KNS)
