Kulgam, Mar 02 (KNS): Municipal Council Kulgam today fulfilled a long pending of people as well as drivers by installing lighting system at Laroo Bus Stand in the district.
People as well as drivers were demanding lights at the stand for night hours and today MC Kulgam in collaboration with PDD department inaugurated the same.
On this occasion MC chairman Muneeb Ahmad Zargar, Executiev Officer Kulgam Irfan Ahmad Wani and AEE PDD Javid Ahmad were present.
Meanwhile, people thanked MC Kulgam and said they are very happy as they were facing lot of problems during night hours and today by establishing these lights they can earn our livelihood during night hours too.
Muneeb Ahmad Zargar said it was the demand of people to install new lights and today he made it possible.
He also urged people to take care of the government property as it is their property. (KNS)
