In a function held in Khanyar Shaher-e-Khaas, hundreds of students, sports personalities participated in martial art competition organized by Academy of Martial Art in association with J&K Scouts and Guides Association.
The chief Commissioner J&K Scouts and Guides Association Khwaja Farooq Renzushah was the Chief Guest on the occasion, a spokesman of the Association said in a statement.
The students of Khanyar Higher Secondary School, the students of Marwah Higher Secondary School, Hazratbal and students of other schools of Shaher-e-Khaas excelled in the competition. “Syed Shuja the Chief Organizer of the Martial Art Academy said that Farooq Renzushah in his capacity as the Chief Commissioner J&K Scouts has launched most successful environment oriented movement and J&K which had to complete ban of polythene in which he succeeded to ensure 100% implementation,” he said that name Shaher-e-Khaas was given by him to Srinagar which received word wide recognition.
While complementing participants on the occasion Renzushah said that J&K Scouts and Guides is indigenous youth movement in J&K State since 1930 and no other Scout movement can find its place in the system.
