Handwara, May 01 (KNS): A 45-year-old man was critically injured after being attacked by bear in Darbal village of Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that Mohammad Yousuf Mir of Darbal Langate Handwara was attacked by a black bear when he was working in nearby fields.
Soon after the incident he was rushed to a nearby hospital where from he has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, officials of wildlife department and police have reached to the spot. (KNS)
