Pattan, Feb 28 (KNS): A 40 year old man died after being hit by a moving train near Hamre area of Pattan in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday morning.
Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a train from Baramulla to Banihal hit the man identified as Hafizulla Ganie (40) of Chanderhama Pattan.
They said the man died on the spot and later his body was shifted to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter. (KNS)
