Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid tribute to police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty, saying their courage and sacrifice should inspire collective efforts to maintain peace, unity and security.
In a message posted on social media platform X on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, LG Sinha remembered the fallen personnel and acknowledged their dedication to safeguarding the nation.
The Lieutenant Governor called for collective efforts to honour the legacy of the martyrs by working towards a safer and more prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
Police Commemoration Day is observed annually on October 21 to pay homage to police personnel who lost their lives while performing their duties and to recognise their contribution to public safety and national security. (KNS)
