Shopian September 18:(KNS) A delegation of the District Shopian along with some sko dealers calls on  Irfan Manhas VC, DDC Shopian. 

The delegation led by the J&K Kerosene dealers union president Javid Hakeem ,Distric Kerosene union president Shahnawaz Mir calls on Vice Chairman District Development Council Shopian and apprised him about the early distribution of Kerosene in Shopian. 

K-Oil president Javid Hakeem said that due to Pendamic Covid19 and bad weather climatic conditions the people have suffered by a huge economic loss since some years, and the whole population of the district depends on Kerosene by their domestic use like cooking,illimunation and especially for heating purposes,moreover hundreds of retail kerosene/cooperative dealers are earn to their livelihood as per the commission bases fixed by the government to them for the distribution of the sko among the consumers,In this regard we met the Vice Chairman DDC Shopian Mr Irfan Manhas for early distribution of Kerosene Oil to the people of the district as per existing practice beyond 31/10/2021, On 

The spot Vice Chairman have taken up the matter with Honble Advisor,Sh Farooq Khan and District Development Commissioner Shopian that in view of the coming winter, bad economic conditions of the people in the valley /shopian that there is dire need of kerosene instead of any curtailment,the supply of kerosene oil be continue beyond ending October 2021 to the valley with out any hesitation, so that the people in general and retail kerosene/cooperative dealers will feel a sigh of relief (KNS)
