Srinagar 16 january (KNS): Members of J&K handicapped association headed by Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Kulgam today held a protest at press colony lal chowk srinagar against JKSSRB & all district medical boards of J&K.

 While talking to media he said that, JKSSRB is not considering the Honb'le supreme court order and directions to not count open merit holders in reserved quota of persons with disabilities and district medical board is issuing disability certificates in favour of non-disabled persons without taking in consideration the sufferings of persons with disabilities.

He further alleged that doctors in medical board are not holding accurate qualifications, the same was realized when a child died at the gate of Srinagar medical board. We request Honbl LG to intervene in the matter without any delay, otherwise disability sector will come on roads and agitate till death.(KNS)
