Srinagar 08 April (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Adminstrative Service officers appreciated government's  decision taken today by issuing long pending seniority list of JKAS Officers and termed it  historical decision.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a delegation of JKAS Officers said that by issuing the long pending seniority list of officers, new officers will also get adjusted in near future and officers from J&K are now too entitled for induction into Indian Adminstrative Services, which was halted from so many years.

"There are so many vacancies in IAS from JKAS quota, by finalising seniority list, now more JKAS officers get inducted into IAS", they added.

Earlier today, The Jammu and Kashmir Government orders  promotion of  selection grade JKAS officers to special scale JKAS officers with immediate effect.(KNS)
