JK Peoples Movement criticise authorities for not allowing Kashmir conference

 Srinagar, Feb 17 (KNS):  The Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement has condemned authorities for not allowing a conference on Kashmir in Srinagar, on Saturday, scheduled to be attended by the scores socio-political and human rights  activist from across India and Jammu and Kashmir. Senior APHC Leader and chairman JKPM Mir Shahid Saleem, former Indian Minister Mani Shanker Ayyer and many others had arrived in Srinagar to speak on the prevailing state of affairs in Kashmir. The conference was foiled by the police by imposing section 144 and sealing the venue on the banks of Dal Lake on Saturday.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Meanwhile JKPM Chairman has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of APHC chairman Syed Ali Geelani and prayed to almighty for his speedy recovery. “The JKPM chairman who visited the Hyderpora was not allowed to see the ailing leader. Jammu and Kashmir was converted into a complete police state denying every right to its citizens,” a statement reads. (KNS)
