Srinagar, March 09:(KNS)   Expressing deep shock and grief over the heinous murder incident at Kupwara, Former Minister & Apni Party Vice President Javaid Mustafa Mir said that killing of an innocent child Talib Manzoor is an abominable crime & blot on our society.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mir asserted that it is high-time for the society to introspect and revive the lost ethics that for centuries have remained our distinguished hallmark.

“I am deeply saddened and equally anguished over this horrifying incident. What crime had this child done? This is a serious indicator that our society is touching an extreme moral low. I earnestly pray for the peace to this little son of ours and hope Almighty Allah will bestow his courage to the bereaved family to bear this colossal loss,” he said.

Mir further expressed concern over the rising crime rates across J&K and urged the civic society members and religious leadership to come to the front and denounce these acts of belligerence unequivocally the statement further reads.
