J&K Students Association holds Students interaction program in Gurez Bandipora

Bandipora  June 06(KNS) :J&K Students Association here today held students interaction program in collaboration with Tribal Affairs Department in Gurez Valley of Bandipora District. During the Program, Spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami and Mudasir Ahmad Dar Interacted with Students in Tulail, Markoot, Kashpat, Chorwan and at Dagbanglow Gurez. 

 

During the Interaction Program, Delegation enquires about the grievances and problems faced by the students in many areas of Gurez Valley. Delegation assured them that Association will advocate their case & their genuine demand before LG and District Administration and will impress on them to take all the necessary steps to resolve at the earliest possible time.

 

During the Program Activists and Students from various high school and higher secondary schools participated in the interaction and raised various issues before Secretary Tribal Affairs and CEO Youth Mission Dr Shahid Iqbal choudhary who assured the participants that their genuine issues will be resolved on priority.

 

Addressing the Students, Secretary Tribal affairs and CEO Mission Youth J&K Dr Shahid Iqbal choudhary through virtual Mode announced major initiatives for Gurez valley under Tribal plan and under Mission youth in coming time. During the interaction, he took firsthand appraisal of their issues and grievances. He said he will take up matter with District administration bandipora and Bus service to be started from Tulail to Gurez and bagtore. Under Mission youth J&K Public Library, First aid unit to be provided for each educational institution, Restoration of WiFi facilities in educational institutions, sports kits to be provided at village level clubs, drug de-addiction centre, grievance cell for youth to be set up in Gurez valley, he added. 

 

He further informed that Matter of SSRB Centre at gurez to be taken with officials and J&K Chairman SSRB and will be redressed at the earliest possible time. He also informed that Gurez valley to get youth centre with amphitheatres, auditoriums as well. Secretary Tribal affairs informed that centre would provide facilities like libraries, amphitheatres, auditoriums, creative studios, discussion rooms, skill labs and recreation rooms. It will not be a typical office type structure; rather it will be a facility for the youth and by the youth.(KNS)
