Srinagar, Nov 10 (KNS) : Following the launch of the Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 more than 53,000 pensioners have successfully submitted their life certificates digitally.
The campaign — part of a nationwide initiative led by the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) — aims to simplify and digitize the process of life certificate submission for pensioners. It enables senior citizens to authenticate their life certificates online using the Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar Face RD mobile applications, eliminating the need to physically visit banks or treasuries.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Launched earlier this month across all districts of the UT, the drive seeks to ensure transparency, convenience, and ease of living for pensioners, particularly the elderly and differently-abled. Authorities have also set up facilitation camps at various government offices and bank branches to assist pensioners in completing the process smoothly.
Officials have urged all remaining pensioners to submit their digital life certificates at the earliest to ensure uninterrupted pension disbursement.(KNS)
