Jammu, Oct 7 (KNS): In a major administrative shake-up, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of 49 officers, including several IAS and JKAS officers, with immediate effect.
According to Government Order accessed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the General Administration Department, senior IAS officer Shaleen Kabra (AGMUT: 1992) has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, relieving Kumar Rajeev Ranjan of the additional charge. Kabra is currently Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, and also holds additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, and Administrative Secretary, Estates Department.
Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma (AGMUT: 1994) has been transferred and posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department.
M. Raju (AGMUT: 2005), Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been divested of the additional charge of Health & Medical Education Department. He will now hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol Department, and also the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, relieving Chandrakar Bharti of the additional charge.
R Alice Vaz (AGMUT: 2005) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Transport Department. She will also hold additional charge of Civil Aviation Department and Commissioner, Civil Aviation, while continuing to hold charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department.
Saugat Biswas (AGMUT: 2006), awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department.
Sarmad Hafeez (AGMUT: 2009) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department.
Ramesh Kumar (AGMUT: 2011), Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. He will also hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Culture Department, and continue as Resident Commissioner, J&K Govt., New Delhi.

Avny Lavasa (AGMUT: 2013) has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, while continuing to hold charge of Administrative Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.
