J&K Govt issues Parking, entry Guidelines for upcoming assembly session in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Ahead of the fourth session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the governmenton saturday issued instructions to regulate vehicle entry and parking in and around the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.

According to Circular, vehicles of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, Speaker, and legislators will be parked in the designated parking areas of the Assembly Complex.

The circular states that vehicles belonging to journalists from print and electronic media, as well as Assembly staff, shall be parked in the marked space within the Secretariat premises.

The order further reads that no private vehicles of officers, officials, or police personnel will be allowed to enter the Civil Secretariat premises during the session.

All staff working in the Civil Secretariat have been asked to fully cooperate with the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) and the Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) in managing vehicle movement and parking.

Administrative Secretaries have been directed to inform employees of their respective departments about the new guidelines.(KNS)
