Srinagar, Jul 15 (KNS): The All India J&K Bank Pensioners Welfare Federation on Friday held its Central Committee meeting here during which it carried out a reshuffle of office bearers and discussed a host of issues concerning the welfare of former bank employees.
The meeting, presided over by Federation President Mr Iqbal Singh, saw the induction and replacement of new office bearers and Central Committee members following elections in the Jammu unit and the newly constituted unit representing Delhi and the rest of the country. The gathering accorded a warm welcome to the newly elected representatives from both units.
Addressing the house, the President and the General Secretary highlighted several pressing issues being faced by J&K Bank pensioners and underscored the need for collective efforts to safeguard their interests and welfare.

The Federation's roadmap includes vigorously pursuing pending demands with the concerned authorities, strengthening organisational unity, expanding membership base, and enhancing coordination among all regional units, the leaders said. Speakers urged all members to remain united and actively participate in the Federation's activities to achieve its objectives.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a reaffirmation of the body's commitment to work tirelessly for the dignity, welfare and legitimate rights of all J&K Bank pensioners across the country, a spokesman said. (KNS)
