Announces compensation of twenty lac for the bereaved family

Jammu, 22 January (KNS):Jammu and Kashmir Bank Chairman and Managing Director R K Chhibber offered his condolences to the family of ATM guard, Raju Sharma, who was killed while performing his duties at Nanak Nagar Jammu.

The CMD also announced a compensation of Rs. 20.00 lac in favour of the bereaved family. The money will be contributed by the employees of J&K Bank.

“We at J&K Bank family are deeply distressed by the killing of ATM guard. On the behalf of entire J&K Bank family, I extend sincere condolences to the guard's family and pray for peace of the departed soul. It is a huge loss for them which can't be compensated by any means. However, to support the family at this time of grief J&K Bank family shall contribute an amount of Rupees Twenty lacs,” the CMD said.

Zonal Head Jammu Central 1, Sunit Kumar visited the family of the deceased along with other officials of the Bank and conveyed the condolence message from the Chairman and Managing Director.

Meanwhile the J&K Bank CMD urged upon the security agency that employed the guard, to expedite the processing of terminal benefits due to his legal heirs and also requested them to explore the possibility of providing employment to the next of the kin of the deceased (KNS).
