Srinagar, Mar 09 KNS): Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Mohammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the killing of another innocent youth at Padgampora Pulwama namely Aamir Nazir by trigger happy Indian forces.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKLF chairman said that while on daily basis our young boys who have been pushed to the wall by police and forces embrace martyrdom, our children are also being targeted by Indians with impunity.
While paying rich tributes to youth who embraced martyrdom today, JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik said that police and army by killing a 15 year old innocent Aamir with impunity have actually translated Indian army chiefs’ threat into action which is highly condemnable.
JKLF chairman expressed solidarity with the bereaved families of all those martyred and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
While condemning the dilapidated condition of inmates languishing in various jails and police stations, JKLF chairman said that the plight of prisoners is extremely deplorable and rulers with the help of their police and other forces are employing every tactic to prolong their incarceration.
Citing the example of a young boy Zubair Ahmad Turray of Shupian who is languishing in jails from last four years and JKLF senior activist Molvi Reyaz of Pattan who is being terrorized by police from last six months, JKLF chairman said that PSA of both these inmates expired recently but police re-arrested them and is terrorizing them in police stations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that inmate Zubair Ahmad Turray has so far been slapped PSA six times and recently he was re-arrested by police and is languishing in Keigam police station. Similarly PSA of Molvi Reyaz also expired recently and instead of releasing him, police station Kreeri re-arrested him, oppressed him in police lock-up for many days and shifted him back to district jail Baramulla.
JKLF chairman said that this police oppression against peaceful political workers is pushing our young generation to the wall and promoting violence in Jammu Kashmir.
He said that JKLF leaders and activists including JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, District president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya), Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Kupwara, Assadullah Sheikh of Kulgam and many others are languishing in jails and police stations and facing hardships and oppression.
Meanwhile JKLF has expressed its heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Aafaq Ahmad Malik s/o Muhammad Ayoub Malik of Hanji Danter Islamabad who was a close relative of JKLF martyr Muhammad Maqbool Malik.
JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt along with district president Muhammad Ishaaq Ganaie visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. While paying tributes to the deceased, JKLF leaders prayed for his heavenly abode. (KNS)
