Hanjura chairs PDP meet. "Fastrack membership drive"

Srinagar, June 14th:(KNS) People's Democratic Party today held its first meeting at party headquarters post second wave of COVID-19 lockdown. 

 

In a statement issued to KNS, party spokesperson revealed that the meeting was presided over by Party General Secretary G N Lone Hanjura and was attended by State secretaries Ab Hameed Kosheen and Gh Mohiuddin Wani (Wachi), DDC members Ab Qayoom and Dr Harbaksh, Zonal President Khanyar Md Shafi Kundangar, senior leaders Ab Qayoom Bhat, former VC Haji Parvez, Rouf Bhat and State Secretary youth Arif Laigaroo. 

 

The meeting highlighted the plight of common man burdened by double whammy of health epidemic and financial uncertainties which have battered the common man. 

" Administration has overlooked the fact that people are suffering miserably. No substantive measures are underway to provide succour to them, " the meeting observed. 

 

Stressing the party cadre to reach out to affected sections of society, Hanjura said it is imperative for every member of the party to double down on relief efforts and lend a helping hand to everyone. 

 

" Party cadre should supplement the efforts of administration and civil society organization's, focus the attention of authorities towards deficiencies of the system and raise awareness among the public about vaccinations and following SOP's" Hanjura said. 

On the occasion Party General Secretary G Nabi Lone Hanjura also stressed that membership drive should be fastracked. 

Others leaders also spoke and brought to the attention of General Secretary plethora of issues marring the common population. (KNS)
