Srinagar, Dec 12 (KNS): Hajin town in Bandipora district today observed shutdown against the police raids on three men in the area.
According to KNS correspondent, police Saturday raided the houses of Mohammad Ashraf Mir, a tailor, Abdul Hamid Bhat, and Danish Ahmad in Hajin town to arrest them.
Reports said that the raids agitated the people and their spontaneously closed their shops and business units to protest.

SP Bandipora Shabir Choudhary told KNS that the three men “are wanted in many cases of violating law and order in the town. “The three men have dozen FIRs against them. They are wanted for stone pelting and disturbing peace in the area. They have to face the law,” Choudhary said when asked why police was raiding their houses. (KNS)
