Gulmarg Press Club Pays Tribute to Late Journalist Shahid Masood Bukhari on His Fourth Death Anniversary


Gulmarg, Nov 7 (KNS): The Gulmarg Press Club paid heartfelt tribute to the late senior journalist, broadcaster, and former Editor-in-Chief of KTV News Urdu, Shahid Masood Bukhari, a resident of Qazipora Tangmarg, on his fourth death anniversary.

Remembered as “the voice of the voiceless” in the field of journalism, Shahid Masood Bukhari’s contributions to media and society continue to inspire journalists across Kashmir.

On the occasion, Chairman Press Club Gulmarg B.A. Sagar and General Secretary Press Club Gulmarg Aadil DAR led the members in paying rich tributes to the late journalist. The gathering offered prayers for the eternal peace of his soul and sought the highest place for him in Jannah.

He was the pioneer behind several popular programs, including “Akse Parwaz” on Doordarshan Srinagar, and introduced various Gojri-language shows on AIR Srinagar, including the renowned program “Wadi Ki Awaz.”

His relentless efforts to uplift journalism and his commitment to truth and social causes have left an indelible mark on Jammu and Kashmir’s media landscape. His work and legacy will continue to be remembered for generations.
