Srinagar, November 4(KNS): Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday expressed shock and deep sorrow over the sudden demise of senior journalist Tariq Ahmad Bhat, describing him as one of the most respected and principled voices in Jammu and Kashmir’s media fraternity.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Mirwaiz conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Bhat’s relatives, colleagues, and friends. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
