Sopore March 12 (KNS) : Sr. Vice President Peoples Conference and Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil expressed grave apprehensions about the short listing of recruitment company Aptech by the SSRB and implored upon the administration to stop playing with the future of the youth of J&K and spare them of any further experimentation. Vakil while addressing party workers convention in Sopore today said “Not a day goes by when there is not some new sinister experiment by this administration whether it is anti encroachment drive, property tax and now engaging a blacklisted company to conduct recruitment exams in J&K where future of thousands of students are involved who are appearing for these exams.
 
According to a statement issued to KNS, Vakil described the situation of J&K in general as quite fluid where good governance, accountability and transparency is missing from the scene. 
While addressing the gathering Vakil expressed concern over the sluggish development of Horticulture sector in Kashmir and said that government has till date failed to launch a result-oriented program for the development of the Fruit Industry. He urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to take the important issue of huge losses to fruit growers with the central Government with the strong recommendations of sanctioning of special economic package including waiving of KCC loan.
 
Addressing the gathering Provincial President Peoples Conference Mohammad Khursheed Alam urged party workers to intensify their political activities and public outreach programs to remain connected with the people at the grassroots level. He said, “Ours is a party of masses, therefore, we must be well linked with the masses. It is at this time of need, when the people of J&K are feeling isolated and alienated, that political forces must extensively reach out to the people to fill the void.”, Alam emphasised during the convention.Our key agenda is to ensure people’s well-being in terms of striving for peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.”
