Srinagar October 01(KNS): Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir on Sunday graced the grand cricket finale at Kharpora Tangmarg and encouraged the sportsmenship qualities.
In a statement issued here, Mir said that sports activities remain vital for the overall development of youth and organising these events boost their morale & talent.
"It is a moment of pride to see that our youth have decided to get involved in sports activities rather than felling prey to rampant drug abuse that is destroying so many young lives. The participation of youth besides scores of spectators in this event shows that people are paying more interest towards sports activities & it is a good sign," he said.
The match was won by Kharpora who received accolades and awards at the hands of Ghulam Hassan Mir while he praised their talent and wished sucess for all the participants.(KNS)
