Gh Hassan Mir questions absence of Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti from opposition’s protest in Jammu

Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNS): Apni party senior vice-president Ghulam Hassan Mir Tuesday questioned the absence of National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti from the protest of opposition parties in Jammu today.

Talking to KNS, Mir said that asked the leaders why they skipped the protest that they had themselves called during the opposition parties’ meeting in Jammu last week.

“Their absence from the protest puts a question mark on their intentions and they should come clean on this why they skipped the protest. We have been saying this time and again that they have secret alliance with the BJP and their absence from the protest proved it,” he claimed.

He added that these leaders don’t want to upset the BJP, which is why they skipped the protest in Jammu today.

Notably, on October 2 several J&K opposition parties had convened a meeting in Jammu, where it was decided to hold protest against the present dispensation on October 10.

However, NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehboob Mufti skipped the proposed protest that was held in Jammu today. (KNS)
