Thanks Kupwara people for observing shutdown

Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNS): While demanding an impartial investigation into ‘gruesome’ massacres by international agencies, Chairman of Hurriyat (G), Syed Ali Geelani on Friday said that the spirits of people of Kupwara are commendable as during all this period they faced worst situations at the hands of preparators.
Thanking people of Kupwara for observing shutdown against Kupwara massacre, Geelani in a statement issued to KNS, said that it is heart wrenching to see the swelling number of widows and orphans in Kupwara district.
Geelani said, “We are duty bound to safe guard all these sacrifices.”
While ridiculing vested section, Geelani expressed his dismay and anguish that a few self-interested and unscrupulous persons are hell-bent to portray adverse impression about freedom movement, as if people are tired and not interested with ongoing movement.
Referring to shutdown on the event of Kupwara massacre, Geelani said that pro-Indian leaders stand exposed and people revived their commitment with martyrs and freedom movement and pledged that they won`t backtrack ongoing freedom struggle.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
