Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Thursday condemned the thrashing of media persons while they were performing their professional duties during an encounter at Syed Ali Akbar area of Fateh Kadal here.

“Such acts against the media persons who are working hard to highlight the plights and grievances of people must be avoided,” he said, adding that media is fourth pillar of democracy and must be respected by one all. (KNS)
