Bandipora March 27( KNS): Forest Protection Force today seized 14 feet illegal timber in Kanbati  area of the district.
Deputy Director Forest Protection Force Bandipora, Eijaz Ahmed told KNS  that they have seized illegal 14 feet timber in Kanibati  bandipora area of the district.

“We have started an investigation, though no arrests have been made so far,” he said.

Locals alleged that the loot of green gold is rampant in Aloosa  Forest division.

They claimed that the higher ups in forest department have failed to act against the erring officers involved in nexus with smugglers in chopping down green trees.(KNS)
