Bandipora October 21 (KNS):  J&K Forest Department expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of DFO Bandipore Shabir Ahmad Bhat who passed away today morning after a brief illness. A condolence meeting of forest officers and officials was held at Sheikhbagh Forest Complex, Srinagar which was attended among others by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF, J&K and APCCF Kashmir.

A two minute silence was observed for peace of the departed soul. On the occasion services of the late DFO were highlighted which he rendered for the Department. Participants remembered Shabir Sahib as a noble human being and an able officer who significantly contributed a lot for the growth and betterment of the Department.

The meeting prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family.(KNS)
