SRINAGAR, Jan 16 (KNS) ; Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Friday took aim at political rivals, stating that individuals like political leader Sajad Lone should concentrate on their domestic affairs instead of fuelling political debates over Jammu and Kashmir.
According to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), Choudhary said, "Certain individuals, like Sajad Lone, should focus on safeguarding their own households rather than stirring controversies regarding Jammu and Kashmir. They must prioritize unity at home and refrain from generating needless public disputes."
Choudhary stated that Jammu and Kashmir belongs to all its residents, shaped by the historical contributions of figures ranging from Maharaja Gulab Singh and Maharaja Hari Singh to Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.

The Deputy Chief Minister also cited the revival of the Darbar Move as evidence of the National Conference-led administration’s dedication to the Jammu region.
"Why were these voices silent when the Darbar Move was discontinued earlier? Why didn’t they speak up then?" Choudhary questioned. He asserted that politically motivated debates only serve to distract from more pressing matters of governance and public welfare. (KNS)
