Extraordinary efforts required to revive the educational activity in J&K: AAPSJ&K


Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): A meeting of executive members of Alliance of Associations of Private Schools J&K was held on Thuraday wherein it was resolved that extraordinary efforts are required to revive the educational activity in J&K.

While appreciating the efforts of various stakeholders in education sector it was impressed upon the Government to take positive steps to help develop the education sector equally both in private and government schools.

It was decided that, henceforth no individual is authorized to issue any statement on behalf of the private schools. All the issues related to private education sector would be represented by a group of people authorised by the Alliance. The alliance will be represented by its spokesperson. Mr Akhtar Hussain and Mr Nazarul Islam Baba.

As of now the PSAJK and J&K private schools coordination committee are members of this Alliance. (KNS)
